We are very open to the idea of sponsors, but this project does not hinge on sponsorship. We’d like to partner with all sorts of companies and we see this as much as an athletic experiment as a media experiment.
Having worked for Google and worked with the guys at Youtube (owned by Google), I have a good understanding of how all of the major digital networks should be used to help this gather momentum. We’re integrating Facebook, Youtube, Twitter and our own website to get as big an audience as possible. We’ll be updating our sites on a daily basis and uploading a new video every week. This will be an approx 10-15min summary of our adventure.
We believe there will be numerous opportunities to help our sponsors get valuable exposure, so we’re happy to discuss any ideas you may have about partnering with us.
