Hey Guys,

I’m a couple of days late with this post, as I have been traveling back in time! Daz and I just managed to get our airport bus on Tuesday, dragging us from the ridiculously fun clutches of Tokyo, to deliver us across the world to the haven that is San Francisco – with the delightful Noe Street Girls!

I came up pretty short on the target for the end of Feb. My good friends Chippa and Sian, who visited in Tokyo and lost substantial amounts of money ferrying my crap over here, also dug even deeper to round us up to the $5000 mark. Thanks guys.

AND thank-you so much for all the donations to date. All of your messages of support have been read 5 times and appreciated. That’s the stuff that keeps me going. With the terrible events in Chile, landslides in Uganda and the weekly addition of life crushing events, I think I made the perfect decision to support UNICEF in this year away.

As of today, the raffle is closed, a couple of days later than planned. I’ll figure out a good way to pull the raffle winner in a fair and objective manner. We’ll aim to do it in the next 7 days. Any ideas from the people?

Yours in absolute bewilderment that this has gotten so big,

At the Nappa Valley Marathon randomly allocate a time to each entry – hence if there are 500 entries then allocate 6 seconds to each entry (i.e. 3:10:00-3:10:05 is one entry). This should give you an allocation from 3:10:00 – 4:00:00.

Then (and this bit is important) don’t take a watch with you on the race.

Official finishing time wins the prize.

Either that or draw it out of a hat.
