Funny reading on Marrakech, but I actually felt safer there than I did in Spain.

It’s great to hear your stories! I’m headed to Marrakech in two weeks to spend my winter break there. Your reactions to the place seem spot-on with everything else I’ve read. I can’t wait to experience the craziness and get away from all the cold and snow here in northern France! Best of luck with everything, sounds like y’all are doing well (despite the stolen goods…)!

Wow, sounds like lots of adventures in Marrakech! I was thinking I would hit Marrakech while you guys are doing the des Sables, but on second thoughts…. Probably need someone with me and son/daughter to be instead of braving it on my own!

Sounds like you are having quite an adventure. We were robbed in Madrid too – they took our bag with all our money, credit cards, camera and hostel key. It was quite a scam!
It is hard work going through so many different cultures at such a fast pace isn’t it.
I hope you do well in the marathon.
